This is one of my dreams...to feed a lamb a bottle of milk. I am not even kidding! It has been on my dream list since I was a child. I had a stuffed animal named "lamby" that went with me everywhere. I am a smidgen jealous you got to do this!!!
Becky, I wasn't actually doing the feeding, I was taking the photo! I was offered the opportunity to feed the lamb but I have done it before a few times. I imagine many New Zealand children grow up with enough contact with farms that feeding a lamb is part of their childhood. It was occasionally part of mine.
He's looking at you while you take the photo.
ReplyDeleteShe was very very friendly before she was fed. Once she had a full belly again, people were of much less interest!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute! Don't name it, you will never be able to eat it!

It's not mine- I was at a friend's house, and it does have a cute name already. But I think they will still eat it cos that is what farmers do!!!
