There was still some snow lying on the ground this morning after yesterday evening's most surprising amount of snowfall- and the ranges were draped in snow to low levels. The sunshine made it all look very pretty, even though it was -2 degrees...
Allanah- I got it once when I was teaching in Stratford when I was a very young teacher. But first time in Palmy. Michèle, apparently it came up from Antarctica very quickly which explains its severity for us- but by your standards it would be nothing much so I am amazed it made your news! Karin- brrrrr. I saw a little light snow again last night, but I think it is supposed to start warming up a little from today.
Beautiful. Shame we missed it really. I have only been ion falling snow once.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! They even talked about the NZ snowstorm on our National News!
