By June 2 I was really in the stride of it all and was thoroughly enjoying seeing so much French countryside. En route to the chateau at Cheverny I passed this rather magnificent specimen of a cross near a vineyard. And on a lovely flat section of road, on a part of one of the tourist office Loire-Chateau routes, I passed this rural house.
