Champagne Pool at Wai-o-tapu. For me, this shows the thermal wonders of the Rotorua area at their most magnificent. (You used to be able to take photos closer to the edge, but this guard fence is an addition since last time I visited.)
I will definitely have a look at your hiking pics emilene- will wait until I am home again... My weekend shots might be limited though. Am going to a St James dinner tonight- and people shots don't usually get put on here... then tomorrow is likely to be a trip home without photo stops as I go quickly to try and avoid a snowstorm that is supposed to be coming!
This brings back memories of our trip to that part of the world a couple of years ago. Can't wait to go back!

Yes, I think so.... but they never had a guard rail there back then? So it is perhaps quite a recent addition....
