363: Esplanade
Only three days to go now to show you photos in my 365- and this might be the last outdoor photo, as rain is forecast to end the year. The blue skies of previous days have already been replaced by grey cloud cover, though it is still warm enough at 24C. This photo was taken at the Esplanade, with bright summer annuals in the foreground, and the avenue of phoenix palms behind. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a short walk anytime of the year, as there are always different things in bloom.

I can't remember seeing palm trees in your 365 photos before! Beautiful!

I know- today when I was at the Esplanade I was conscious of so many things in the city that I haven't put in the 365!
ReplyDeleteAnnuals? I haven't seen any of those since 1995! Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteYes, almost look prettier with the grey sky- as otherwise the bright sunlight tends to wash out the colour in a photo...
ReplyDeleteThis wonderful tropical like scenery is quite enticing this morning since it is -20 celsius here!

It's not looking so tropical in the rain here this morning Michèle. I am soon heading out for a walk with my raincoat on- not sure when/how I will get the camera out- guess it might be an indoor shot!
