Yes, the Nelson region has really copped it- what incredible rainfall- more like what you might rarely expect in Haast. The carnations are a beautiful shade of red. I love looking at them!
Beautiful flowers! I know you deserve them because teaching is not something I could do. I have a lot of respect for teachers. Love your drapes by the way..
Glad to see I wasn't the only one who's eyes went straight to those beautiful drapes!! The flowers aren't bad either!! :-) Enjoy the holiday! Hard to believe your year of photos is nearly done!
Enjoy! We've had a week already, and it's rained for most of it. I hope the worst is over now, especially for those poor people in the Nelson area.

The drapes cheer me up on cold winter's nights!- though I hope we don't have too many of those in the near future.
ReplyDeleteIt's summer in NZ! Don't think you need them for a while. Care to UPS them to me?? -12 celsius this morning, coldest we have had so far.
ReplyDelete-12!!!! Coldest I have ever been in was -6 and that was in Madrid believe it or not. Fountains were all frozen and pigeons were walking on the ice.

ReplyDeleteKarin, I think that one of the dangers of the #365 is that the year does seem to roll from beginning to end awfully quickly! Margaret
