Wow quite a variety! The Festival of Cultures sounds wonderful, a lot to listen to, see and taste! I would be particularly intrigued by the Korean needlework at theTaylor Jensen Gallery, the Lantern Parade and A journey through Havana! The Eggner Trio sound nice, more traditional and hey D.O.A. is a Canadian Band! Not my cup of tea but still...
I don't know Michèle, but I imagine, probably not. If the venue was central, it would still all be cordoned off. I had no idea D.O.A. were Canadian! Not my cup of tea either- hey, that's a great English idiom you use- but I loved the contrast in the poster types they helped provide. And the Festival of Cultures is exciting- a real celebration.

ReplyDeleteThe Americans mock Canadians because we use "hey" a lot. such as "It's was a great concert hey?
ReplyDeleteMichèle
We would probably just use the 'ey' bit here on a similar phrase. 'It was a great concert ay?'
