I spent some time this morning taking photos in a friend's garden, which is always an inspiring place to step out into. I took lots of shots, but it seemed that for this blog I should choose one that showed a few of her very edible vegetables. She works hard to grow a variety of healthy food, then serves it fresh, and with love, to her family.
So I see lettuce, onion shoots, parsley and spinach?

Spring onions I think- we have them often in salads. Not sure if it is parsley or not. Di has lots of different veges- a whole range of greens, corn, blackberries, beans, courgettes...
ReplyDeleteLettuce, spring onions, Italian parsley, basil and beans!! Thanks Margaret I love the vivid greens
ReplyDeleteI know who that anon has to be!
ReplyDeleteI thought it might be basil instead of spinach but wasn't sure. Glad to know!

I like the way she is taking steps to mix it up and avoid a monoculture. That will improve the stability of her garden ecosystem.
ReplyDeleteShe's a very clever gardener maalie. And has a worm farm so she can add nutrients to the soil.
