352: sheep resting
Holidays have arrived and I am glad to 'officially' start my training regime for Cluny next April. While I was sweating up and down a few hills, it was nice to see these sheep still had time to relax and be peaceful under this tree.

282: alpacas
I went walking up Turitea Rd in some welcome sunshine this morning, and passed by a paddock with some alpacas in it - not such a common sight in NZ. They were all staring at me, though I don't think I really frightened them too much...

62: Pukeokahu
Today I went on a 'road trip' and passed by Pukeokahu School, a small rural school east of Taihape. (But the children were all away swimming in Taihape at the time!)
This has to be another 'double-banger'. First photo shows the school.
And the second photo shows a small part of the magnificent hill country view that they get from the front gate of the school...
