4: Okains Walk

Farm barn seen on the road to Okains Bay

 

When the tide was out, you could do a circuit by walking up the river estuary, visiting the Okains Bay settlement, then returning to the campground via the road. There were various old buildings to see along the way, as well as an interesting museum. This barn stood in the midst of farmland, easily visible from the road.
