352: sheep resting

Holidays have arrived and  I am glad to 'officially' start my training regime for Cluny next April. While I was sweating up and down a few hills, it was nice to see these sheep still had time to relax and be peaceful under this tree.

  1. Good place to "train" since you will probably see lots of sheep on the Cluny path!

  2. You comment landed where it should have. Now I know your surname and was wondering if you were at all related to a Daniel Riorden that I taught in Marton some years ago.

  3. Lots of forest too Michèle from what I'm told, but it's the hills that prey on my mind in my current state of unfitness!! Allanah, my Riordans were based in Canterbury- Charing Cross- within a couple of kms of the epicentre of the first big earthquake down there. Then my line moved to Taranaki. He is no relation I am pretty sure...

  4. Sorry KN, I am not with you on the walk. I'll be with the sheep resting in paddock. Will you be writing online about your walk? It would be exciting to follow.

  5. Some of the time I imagine I will be wishing I was just resting with the sheep in the paddock too Andrew. Don't know if I will be blogging much on the walk- might be retrospective when I get home. If I get lots of work at the start of next year though I might buy a fancy phone that has wifi. But chances are that won't happen!
