Something new today- I am using my new iPad for this post. These photos were taken with it, and I am publishing using the Blogger App.
Not sure how to place the photos, but we'll see what happens when I hit Publish!
Yes, not sure how to do anything with the photos other than having them all at the end.... but if I can't work it out, I guess I could change things around later.... You seem to be able to use this app even if you are offline- and they can be published when you hit wifi again. I think!
I also took the camera to compare quality. It does have amazing quality on the iPad, but has more limitations than my camera. I actually had to take quite a few kowhai shots with the iPad before I got the flowers focussed properly- it tended to focus more on the background. The other thing I found hard was not having a zoom to focus in on more distant things. What you saw was what you got. Of course, because the quality is sharp, you could crop shots later and presumably still get good sharpness- haven't played with that yet. It would be amazing to blog with this quality of shot from overseas though using wifi. Just feels rather obtrusive holding something this size up to take shots!!!
Yes, the photos are amazingly good- sooooo much better than the iPod Touch which is quite lousy! One of the least known secrets about Palmy is the beautiful blossom at this time of year.
You did good!

DeletePretty impressive photos for a machine that is not particularly a camera. Palmy should be renamed Prunusville.
