246: frosty lamb


Headed out for a walk in the countryside this Saturday morning. Frost was quite thick on the ground and my fingers were tingling in the cold for the first hour or so, making me wish I had brought my woollen gloves with me. This lamb already had its own woollen coat...

  1. Very cute. I don't know about what happens there, but here they tend to shear sheep about now or earlier when the weather can be very cold. I suppose there must be a reason.

  2. That happens here too, though maybe not quite yet. Not sure of the reason- an Uncle had a sheep farm but as that was in the South Island I wasn't there too often...
